Oxytocin (also called the Love Hormone) is responsible for having trust and attachment to other people. Even though known as the Love Hormone, it also modulates the feeling of being embarrassed, fear, anxiety and other social behaviors. But mostly we can read or hear about it in maternal health or labor, even though the feeling of fear or being embarrassed (in my opinion) is more common than childbirth (but it should not be neglected in the topic of childbirth since it plays a major role in it). Oxytocin has a very important role in child birth (labor)... it actually causes contractions in mother's womb. This is an example of Positive feedback mechanism... who can explain the mechanism behind this???
